The details shown in Nkwo official pieces at the just concluded Arise Fashion Week 2019 is impeccable. Each piece was a fine blend of traditional wear and modern-day trends.
This collection is mostly one-off artisanal pieces made entirely from waste, leftover fabrics, and upcycled jeans. According to them, they ‘used-up’ instead of creating more waste.
Using everyone’s favorite fabrics – white cotton, denim, and Aso-Oke; they stayed true to capturing the African story with texture and surface designs.
