Mavin Records’ signee Crayon is kicking off the year with an urban number dubbed Kpano accompanied by a Clarence Peters-directed music video. This follows the success of his debut EP, Cray Cray alongside visuals of its lead single, So Fine released in July 2019.
Kpano sees Crayon caution naysayers that his shine cannot be dimmed as he has all he needs to become a star. The Ozedikus-produced anthem is tipped to resonate with the masses and in the clubs; setting the tone for his progression towards the upper echelon of the Nigerian music food chain.
Since his surprise reveal in May 2019, Crayon has been revered as one of the budding personalities tipped to become a key custodian of the Afropop totem among his contemporaries, going by the reception of standout tracks like So Fine, Gock Am, Bamiloke, Ladipoe’s Based On Kpa and French Rapper, Kalash’s Bad Gyal.
Few months after debuting into the Nigerian music scene, Crayon was nominated in the Rookie of The Year category at the 2019 Headies Award.
