Abigail Ogun is a dreamer, a content creator, and an ambitious woman who is learning to figure life out as she goes. She is a fashion and travel influencer, dedicated to encouraging and showing young women of color how to show up in luxurious destinations as the best-dressed version of themselves.
In an age where people thrive on social media by following trends, how do you set yourself apart?
I set myself apart by making sure that my content is either educational, inspirational, entertaining or a mix of all things. I’m very intentional about making sure that everything I put out brings value to those who stumble upon it.
What do you consider the highlight of your career as a content creator?
The highlight of my career as a content creator was exploring Barcelona and Madrid and partnering with hotel properties while there. It was a big deal for me to travel somewhere brand new and call it work.
What fascinates you currently and how does it reflect in your work?
Currently, I’m fascinated by photography and improving that skill so I’m taking extra care to curate my photo content.
What are the 3 content creation tools you can’t do without?
I can’t live without my camera, my phone, and lightroom.
What is the most ridiculous thing you have done for content?
I walked on a frozen lake to get a photo and the ice started shifting. I never ran so fast, never again!
