Jay10 Demands to be heard with new Ep, DM2

Just 20 years old and already making his mark on the music industry, Jay10 is one rapper to keep an eye on in the UK rap scene.

Based in North London, JAY10 is an artist who began his rap career in 2019 with his single ‘welcome to the show’, since then JAY10 has grown to be one of the brightest prospects emerging from the UK underground scene now,  his reach extending to the rest of the globe.

His two-track EP Nights in The Rain is his strongest performing EP amassing over 50,000 streams across Apple Music and Spotify.

His music often explores the darkest thoughts in his mind as he tackles the emotional issues of his youth such as depression, anxiety, heartbreak and drug-use through his music.

Born and raised in Nigeria but currently based in the UK he tells personal stories of his experiences to provide listeners with a window into his life. His musical style is one of a kind as he often explores multiple different sounds ranging from emo-rap on songs like Hope You’re Okay, while also retaining his dark traditional rap influence on songs like Deleted Memories and Nights In the Rain.

His latest release ‘DM2’, a 3-track EP is his first under new distribution label Foundation Media and acts as the sequel for his last project ‘Deleted Memories’. The project is an exhibition of both his writing and production expertise. The highlight of the project is SAFARI, featuring Abuja Star Zilla Oaks. It is a track where both rappers describe their fast paced ‘Safari-like’ lifestyles on an ear bending beat produced by Wizzy J. The other two tracks DM2 and MR. DREAMER, both produced by JAY10 will captivate any listeners with JAY10’s wonderful lyricism and production. A project with a little bit of everything, this is the next step on the exciting journey for the young star in the making.
