Describing the song, the Lagos-based artist tells RADR that after hearing the beat off YouTube, “it instantly gave me rage vibes, so I made the hook right away and the verses followed suit”.
“I was feeling a lot of things at the same time; party rage and slight angst mixed with pomp, and those are the exact feelings I conveyed in the pulse of my bars and the lyrics as well. The lyrics show the pomp [Old shit, I’m on my old shit and that ain’t your shit] but the pulse of the hook and the verse is filled with the whole party rage energy.”
