RichaardBrown ignites passion in Debut EP – RB (The Boy)
He’s back like he never left, with eclectic sounds that reveal the story behind RichaardBrown the boy.

It’s a promising year for breakout artists in Nigeria, and RichaardBrown is not left out.
Following the release of his breakout single, “Jazz Up,” which gradually became an anthem in 2020, he relocated to the UK and went into a hiatus while navigating life, school, and finding his footing in the work-life balance.
After what seemed like a never-ending break, RichaardBrown has released his debut EP, RB (The Boy), an 8-song compilation of his journey so far. The EP encompasses the struggle to make a name for oneself, tales of love and romance, and an alternate version of “Jazz Up.”
“Music has always been my passion, so I never stopped recording or performing.” He says, when asked about what the last 4 years without releasing music have been like.
RB (The Boy) has him explore broader facets of his versatility and skill sets as he taps into other music genres, including EDM, in the fan favorite, “Wunderlust”. This EP reveals aspects of his artistry that we’ve neither seen nor heard before.

RichaardBrown doesn’t fail to showcase his Nigerian roots as he infuses the Nigerian Pidgin English into his catchy lyrics that skim smoothly on “DND,” “Ruby Rose,” and “Problem.”
In this EP, he leans further into witty storytelling to immerse listeners in his romantic exploits, love languages, and experiences with beautiful women. A close listen to another fan favorite, “DND,” and “IKEA” reveals RichaardBrown to be a lover boy and romantic gentleman.
A noteworthy mention in RB (The Boy) is the intentionality in the selection of record producers for each song in the EP. With production credits to Magic Sticks, Tori Keeche, and MixwithFimi, and Grammy-nominated mixing and mastering engineer, Synx, RB (The Boy) lands at the right balance of breaking out and taking a stand with his music.

The much-anticipated RB (The Boy) doesn’t fail to deliver on sonic depth, melody, vibe, and rendition of afro-fusion.
For a debut music project, RichaardBrown takes the edge off and bares his artistry with the world. The highs, lows, fun, and conflicting times are all encapsulated in RBTB as a portrayal of the realities of a young and budding creative navigating life while clutching his dreams in his hands.
RB (The Boy) shows a different, but immersive side of RichaardBrown. One that’s vulnerable, yet daring enough to invite you into his world without losing sight of who he is, and all he wants to achieve. It’s a promising leap from his debut release in 2020, and it presents a glimpse into the future music exploits that await him.
RichaardBrown The Boy (RBTB) is an amiable listen currently streaming on all platforms.
