T’neeya, a German-Cameroonian singer/songwriter residing in Accra, Ghana, is an Afro-Soul/R&B talent with a distinct voice and style that will keep you hooked.
Having spent most of her early years in Cameroon, she moved to Berlin, Germany to further her studies in Fashion Designing.
With her passion for music brewing, she decided to visit Ghana, a hub for African music, to explore the culture in hopes of becoming a recording and performing artiste.
She has since then traveled between Ghana, Cameroon, and Germany, coalescing all her experiences into her music, fashion & lifestyle.
Monsta Alta, her newest track, was released on November 17th, 2022, and features a blend of afro vibes and old-school R&B performed in English, French, and Pidgin.
This song embodies that feminine fierceness, that unmatched confidence. A woman who sets her standards high, knows what she wants, and goes after it
unapologetically.
T’neeya flirts a little with her alter ego, who has no name but is described as “Monsta”. Tee is more fiery than usual as she expresses her desire for someone in this song. She definitely doesn’t hold back with her choice of words.
Imagine a sonic feel that gives you a blend of afro vibes and old-school R&B, performed in English, French, and Pidgin, something T’neeya effortlessly does in all her records.
T’neeya has collaborated with artistes such as Kel P, Telz, Odunsi, Darkovibes, Kwesi Arthur, Toni Hauschild, Ace Tee, among others.
She notes her musical influences as old school R&B, Lauryn Hill, 2face Idibia, Stromae, and in recent times Burna Boy & Snoh Aalegra.
