Avante Entertainment established its toot in Afrobeats as early as 2013 with Avante TV (a Youtube channel). The media company was founded by three childhood friends; David Edogame, Samfrank Abarikwu & Yinka Akinsanya. The three were responsible for handling the affairs of Afrobeats pop star Mayorkun and the meteoric rise of Port Harcourt duo, Ajebo Hustlers. Now the record label is set to introduce to the world, yet another music sensation. His name is FRAZY.
Born Akinfolarin Ayo, Frayz is a singer and songwriter. He infuses his smooth R&B vocals with key elements of Afropop and Afrobeat. Although he waS BORN IN Lagos, his ancestral root is the hilly state of Ondo. Frayz realized his gifts at a very young age. He found inspiration in the electric music of Bob Marley, the experimental soul of Fela Kuti, and the enigmatic showmanship of Micheal Jackson. In addition to these, he still highlights the stars of his generation such as Wizkid, Drake, and J.cole as his inspiration.
Frayz’s suave ability to craft melodies and rhythms makes him a potent Afrobeats superstar. He is always ready to add his own rhythm to Afrobeats with his conviction and truckload of talent. Avante Entertainment raised Babcock University graduate and set him up for success.
