Nigerian Born R&B and soul singer Azekel returns with his 2024 EP Sonic Incense, following the success of his 2023 album Analyze Love.This latest project showcases Azekel’s storytelling abilities, his distinct vocal range, and his genuine passion for R&B and soul.
The EP opens with the track “Ritual,” an intriguing choice that aligns perfectly with the theme suggested by the title Sonic Incense. In “Ritual,” Azekel sings, “See baby, I dey make it for you,” his vocals blending seamlessly with a mellow, instrumental background. The lyrics and phrasing signal his African heritage, grounding the EP in cultural authenticity.
