The Boo of the Booless Crooner, Chike sells out his Second London Headline Show, Proving He’s the Apple of the City’s Eye.
The Apple of London Eye Chike, after his debut appearance at the Lafayette London in 2022, returned this summer to give London another classic performance letting his fans know he is not just the boo of the booless he is also the apple of their eye, the show exactly one week after the release of his third studio album titled Son Of Chike with mega single Egwu as its lead single.
His performance featured a hybrid setlist from all three albums, unlike his debut performance, which featured just his debut album. The biggest shock of the night was the crowd singing lyrics from his latest album word for word.
The set was nothing short of Greatness; his performance started with his cult classic Beautiful People with the spotlight on the man and his mic, transitioning to insecure with the lights coming on and a giant screen behind him he moved on to perform his East African classic Nakupenda most popular with his East African audience, towards the end of the performance he debuts the Song Apple to which the show was themed after featuring Qing Madi and the crowd were ready so ready he had to perform it twice, the performance was a classic from set selection to the band, styling and music production media coverage at the end of the set it featured his signature Pose, it was a fantastic night for afrobeats and r&b lovers knowing a kid from Abuja Nigeria would sing his way into the heart of thousands while selling out the prestigious Koko Camden.

We can appreciate the show by making notable mentions of the band Led by Keyboardist Ojekunle Ayodeji(Deji Keys), Tunde Momiji on the second keyboard, Dami Alabi on the drums, backup singers(Ivie, Sanusi Ayodeji, and Miss Dor,) Michael Adesina on the talking drum, Timothy Olayinka and Kwitee to mention a few the band featured a 15 man band and 2 dancers also featuring media coverage by studio beyond scenes and stage management by SV, hosted by legendary host Hakka responsible for also hosting Burna Boy’s London Stadium concert weeks earlier, we cannot speak about this show without giving credit to the music production done by raising producer Prosper Amaizu aka D’Mizu who was responsible for reference production from his debut performance in the United Kingdom, and after that performance has since become an industry standard, giving the audience a feel of a studio quality performance live on stage without having to listen to the same version on Spotify.

In entity, the show was a fantastic experience, and I am confident I can’t wait to see the boo of the booless and the apple of London’s eye once again.
