Ashanti born and bred artiste Black Sherif will release another hit single titled “Kweku the Traveller.” The 20-year-old singer broke into the spotlight at the close of 2021 with the remix of his hit single “Second sermon,” featuring Grammy Award-winning Burna Boy.
Since then, the Ghanian prodigy has been on the road nonstop making his mark on different parts of the world with his tuneful sound. He has appeared on songs with Darkoo and Ivorian doll, and he is set to go on tour with Burna boy. Also, he bagged himself four awards at the recently concluded 3music awards. Blacksherif is destined for greatness, and he tries to spend all his time showing everyone around him that the impossible is nothing.
Known for putting his life and soul into his music, Black Sherif maintains the same energy in this song. About the song itself, he said, “I talked about the countless mistakes I’ve made as a teenager, and how I’m not going to let them stop me from trapping my way up.” The song showcases his insane vocal range with a slightly more sombre tempo than his fans are used to; he said himself that you could hear the pain in his voice.
It feels like he’s on the cusp of an international breakthrough.
He and the song are amazing.
Hope you enjoy it.
