RADR Essentials Vol 44: Davido, Reekado Banks, Jaido P and more

For this week’s essential we are bringing all the good vibes your way with our carefully curated hit songs from Focalistic, Davido, WANI and more

Cram – Jaido P

On this new track, Jaido P is being unapologetically wasteful and reckless financially. At the same time, he recognizes that Sapa is not his mate so he’s ready to run to God whenever he is broke. Overall, he just wants to have a good time and that is exactly what happens when this song comes on.

Bunker – Kwame Eugene

Kwame Eugene opens the track by announcing that ”He didn’t come here to play.” Against the backdrop of a groovy beat, he counts his blessing while casting and binding his enemies and vibe killers. This is a good song to play at the beginning of your day.

Jailer – Wani

Do you have a special someone on your mind? Does he/she sometimes act in ways you don’t like but there’s nothing you can do about it? If yes, you should sing this song to them. Wani’s soothing voice blended perfectly with the beat to create 3 minutes of ”lovely” melodies.

Selection – Reekado Banks

This is a personal favorite feel-good song. Even though Reekado intends it to be a love song, you’ll definitely enjoy it without being a romantic. He strung the lyrics together with an unreal mastery and the melodies will have you wishing the song could last longer.

Liquor – Stainless

Another song for the romantics. This is one of the tracks off Stainless’s album ”in my head.” Stainless confesses to being intoxicated by his lover’s magic and he plans to spoil her as much as he can.

Stranger – Bolu Ajibade

New act Bolu Ajibade shows good prospect with this melodious track where he flexed his sultry vocals. Bolu expresses his appreciation of the love he has received from his love interest on this track and he hopes not to lose her to a stranger. This is another song that should be on your love playlist.

Champion Sound – Davido Ft Focalistic

When two African greats come together on a song, you know it’s definitely going to be flames. On this track, it’s the holy trinity once again; Davido, Focalistic, and Amapiano. This is a proper feel-good song garnished with a little bit of bragging lyrics here and there that will leave you feeling like a champion. Easily one of the best jams released this year.
