Manny Cloud sings about a short lived relationship on this project. Following the theme of the whole EP, I Can’t Change The Present Either, In the Mood for love explores the complex relationships between lovers who aren’t ready for what they have and are distracted by external devices.
God save the Queen- Olú
If you love somber ambient tunes, Olú is the artiste for you. on this beautiful track, she sings of pain and healing. The lyrics focus on how long it took her to get to the point where she could speak freely about her painful experience.
For You- Teni ft Davido
Teni’s long awaited debut album, WONDERLAND has dropped! The 15 track project contains Teni’s signature songwriting talent as well as features from other big guns in the industry. The track For You features 30BG giant Davido, who adds his fervent singing and high level excitement to this love song as well s Teni and her beautiful falsettos.

This 2017 collection of short stories has each story follow the tale of a different Nigerian woman who tries to flourish despite the odds stacked against her in a racist and misogynistic society. Alternating between Nigeria and the United States, the stories tie together the common problems Nigerian women experience in the twenty-first century regardless of their location.
The Beautyful Ones Are Not Yet Born- Ayi Kwei Armah
Published in 1968 as his debut novel, this book follows an unnamed protagonist, “the man,” who tries to adapt to political and social transformation in Ghana as it struggles to gain its independence. The book ultimately blames an attempt to copy the colonizer’s government style as the reason for the failure of the Ghanaian government of the time.
