The team at RADR has been feeling very Chill with these songs this week:
Soweto – Victony, Tempoe
This song feels like a good start to your morning. It’s giving “wake-up and jumpstart”. Released as part of his seven-track EP Outlaw which did an amazing 40M+ streams in a month after its release. Victony teams up with producer Tempoe to deliver this hit where he sings very melodiously about a woman’s derriere.
Bebeto – Kendji Girac, Soolking
Soolking, Algerian singer and rapper teams up with Kendji, a French singer and guitarist on Bebeto. They sing about this woman they found on vacation and are smitten by. Kendji loves her dance moves, her jokes, her smile and he can’t wait to get together with her.
Tiwa Savage- Koroba
Tiwa’s Koroba has been my mood this whole week because I’m all about that enjoyment life. Released in 2020 and quickly becoming a street fav, this song still gets heads bobbing and lots of sing-alongs whenever it is played.
Ingabe – Kabza De Small, Spartz
This soft amapiano song is from Kabza’s recently released album- King of Amapiano Vol 2 Part. Kabza De Small is a South-African DJ and record producer and he teams up with spartz who delivers amazing vocals on this song.
Tay Iwar – Bad4u
Tay Iwar who identifies as a neo-soul singer comes through with this R&B song where he sings about this woman who is Bad for him and yet they can’t get their minds off each other. This song was also produced by Tay Iwar. I love the storytelling in the visuals. It’s impeccable directing by Avely Vain
Sore (Remix)- Yaw Tog, Stormzy & Kwesi Arthur
The OG sore track was a fan favorite and peaked number 1 on Apple Ghana Music’s top 100 charts. So it’s a no-brainer that Yaw Tog teams up with Stormzy and Kwesi for the remix.
