YKB Is Taking 2021 By Storm

Following his October 2020 two-track EP, Know Me,  YKB – formerly known as yusufkanbai – started the year 2021 on a spectacular note with the release of a Twitter video, “Oshofree”, that went viral on the Nigerian internet space. The song garnered over a quarter of a million streams on Audiomack and YKB was recognised as one of the artists to watch out for by Pitchfork in only a short time after.

For his first official release of 2021, YKB enlists street-hop king, Zlatan Ibile, on Afro-pop ear-grabber, “Dey Your Dey”. On dey your dey, YKB succinctly describes the need to maintain your lane on an uptempo beat that certainly gets your moving and keeps you energetic. He entralls listeners with his crisp vocals and harmonies that accompany his delivery.
