Terri Kicks Off Valentine’s with Latest Project, Come Around

Terri began to fill extra-large shoes as soon as his disruptive verse on the best song of 2018, “Soco” hit the airwaves. His declaration as Wizkid’s protégé did not help matters, causing a dangerous peak in demand for the singer’s music but the tough choice to prioritize his artistic development has definitely paid off. Terri now understands the position he plays, steadily applying the strategies learned from his preparatory season. Since the release of Afro-Series in the second quarter of 2020, Terri has maintained a sustainable upward trajectory in the Nigerian music ecosystem. 

Popularly referred to as the face of new Afrobeats, the 21-year-old’s success is not only backed by numbers but also by the rare quality of his music and the highly viral nature of his content. “Ojoro” and “Kill Man”, both off his last project, remain some of the top demanded tracks in the world of Tiktok and Instagram dance challenges. His most recent performance on Wizkid’s “Roma” off the “Made in Lagos” album, additionally attests to his impeccable feature performances. Having graced the covers of the most important playlists across local and international DSPs, Terri’s 2020 ended with his music listed in the top hundred best songs of the year, among other milestones. 

The young act promises an even wilder 2021 and to kick-start his New Year rollout, he delivers a spanking new number titled Come Around, which is produced by P.Priime.
